... It was organized as an R&R meaning very few planned activities; dinners were preplanned as a group but the rest was ‘do whatever suits you’ whether it be hiking, biking or exploring nearby towns and attractions. It was great! Nice people, interesting conversations, tips on places to go. I enjoyed it.

We did have one organized afternoon visit to the Riverside Inn in Cambridge ...

... by a shifty looking bloke to a fire escape door which was apparently the entrance to the comedy club. Alarm bells are beginning to tingle. We were then directed into a rickety old lift and informed the comedy club was on the third floor. Would Tina Fey play here? Alarm bells ringing loud and clear. The next morning, Joyce (our sponsor contact) picked us up and took us to our first stop, the Boyd’s Kinsman Home, an assisted living home for adults with special needs. He had a huge crowd turn out for his show and they loved every minute of it. Lots of applause, laughter, handshakes and hugs during and after the performance made us want to stay there all day. ... the hood of the truck and discovered a problem with the turbo charger. We located a Chevy dealer about 14 miles away and headed there with black smoke pouring out of the exhaust. At the dealer's we discovered it was the hose on the turbo booster which blew off. They couldn't fix it but directed us to a Ford Truck Service Center south of Cleveland. Floyd and Joyce picked us up for breakfast at Panera's. Jim and Floyd went to the VA to help the Vets go to Bingo. Joyce and I went shopping and took her mother, Rose, to a doctor's appointment.

We met Toni, Richard, and Danielle at Chili's for dinner. After dinner we went to the VFW to play Bingo.
