      ... and beautiful. They are occupied by a motley collection of local businesses (pet food store, gym,children's clothing outlet, veterinarian), clearly much different from their heyday. Ware was followed by picturesque villages like West Brookfield, with a town green surrounded by white houses and a church.

      ... hadn't met on that occasion, Poul might have stayed in the U.S. and become a U.S. citizen.
      After breakfast Sunday morning at the Sheraton we enjoyed a pleasant drive out of New York City and camped in Mystic, Connecticut. It's getting a little chilly in the tent but we are now on our way another campground in Massachusetts and at least one more night in the tent - but we will have another big campfire tonight!

      ... art on the seed packets. We were also able to see some of the old equipment used to separate the seeds from plants. Amazing how they did it back then. The manager, Irina, was such a sweetheart letting us roam the old building and look in wonder.They have done a wonderful job of incorporating some antiques and other items in with the seeds to make a very appealing store.       We left Boston behind this morning for our trip to Mystic. It is called this after an Indian tribe and also it is on the river Mystic. We had an excursion booked at a place called the Plimoth Plantation. This is a reconstruction of the first settlement of the pilgrims that settled their colony there.
