... no cross country road trip would be complete without seeing the "Gateway to the West"! On our way, we saw signs for the worlds largest golf tee and also the worlds largest wind chime...although we were tempted to stop and see these most intriguing attractions, we had a long drive ahead of us, so we stayed on the highway. Delta I have found it is seat changes. When we were in line waiting to board, I noticed
the lady ahead of me had the same seat assignment on her boarding pass as I did. I
thought that was odd since we checked in and printed our passes the night before. So
when we got to the agent to board, the machine spat out new seat assignments for our
group. I don’t fly Delta that much, but every time ...
... to tour the Anheuser Busch brewery which is located here in St. Louis. The tour is free and lasts over an hour - Omar already knew about the process about making beer but it was interesting to see it on such a massive scale. For example, each "pot" of beer fermenting would hold 3600 barrels of beer which is the equivalent of 200,000 cases of beer! Another interesting statistic was their warehouse can hold 500,000 cases of beer. But ...
The train was delayed getting into St. Louis . . . and we were seated on the wrong side of the dining car for dinner . . . to get a picture of The Arch. But, we had a pleasant dinner with a retired couple from Bloomington, IL . . . who were taking their very first train trip and headed to San Antonio!

After jumping on the trampoline with Josh and Iris, playing baseball and having a delicious lunch we said our goodbye’s and got back on the road again.
