... We then headed back to the campsite, we put up the tents and made dinner, then enjoyed roasting marshmallows, although I didn't have s'mores this time. The campsite was nice, in between the trees, I slept well, and we were up early this morning, and we are now in the bus heading to Niagara Falls, sadly looking grey here at the moment, so hopefully the weather will improve as we get ...

... of prey which look beautiful when they're soaring in the sky, but close up, look exactly like they sound - a turkey crossed with a vulture. Ugly as sin! When we got back into the car to travel onwards to the Mount Morris dam which bisects the river, a deer ran out into the road in front of us! I was too slow to snap a picture, but she was beautiful. Once we'd had a look at the dam and I'd posed for a picture in a big chair we found - as you do - we drove ...

Miles completed today: 663 Miles in total: 1,306 States this trip: 6 States in total: 30 We woke at five this morning to find that it had been raining all night - always the way as we're packing down! We had the tent deconstructed and were in the car ready to leave by 5.30 - we've totally got this down to a fine art now! Dan took it upon himself to build the fire which he did do quite well at considering we had a little downpour but unfortunately the fire didn't last long and it was smoking us all out. Around 9pm Drew gave us the do's and don't's on trek and general rules etc and by 10:30 I was in bed because after a very enjoyable first day I am ...

... Auntie Denise's house in Aurora. It was a beautiful drive and we arrived at sunset. There was still some snow on the ground and it was pretty cold. The house was so beautiful like a house in a home magazine and Denise had cooked us the most delicious dinner. Nick was there and Steve and we had a really lovely evening. After catching up with them we were pretty tired from our day travelling so we collapsed into the big comfy beds. Talk to you guys soon.- Grace.
