When we were growing up and went on family vacations, my mom was notorious for having brochures spilling out the sides of manila folders and typed up itineraries for every day. I flew back to Rochester for Memorial Day weekend for Caitlyn's baptism. We were able to get out for the first real sail of the season (a little chilly, but not bad!), I tried on some wedding dresses with Mom and Christina, and celebrated my birthday a bit early with a delicious lunch at my favorite Rochester restaurant.

We're on the road, starting the first stretch of our trip! It is hard to leave home, but we are looking forward to all of the adventures to come. Car is packed to maximum capacity (with still being able to see out of the windows, of course).
