... a place mat. I also bought a couple of crochet topped Christmas tea towels. With our Berlin browsing all done, we jumped back in the car and went for a drive around the back roads. Along the way we found a "Swiss chalet" cheese shop where the Amish family make a variety of cheeses. We bought some cheese and salami sticks and some crackers for afternoon tea :-) We moved on passing some fantastic country homes where barns and sheds well surpassing the size of the homes. The ...

As soon as I left our door and wandered along the road about 50 meters I could hear the clip clop of a horse and buggy plodding along. There is a little lake across the road..... The weather was good heading north...missed most of the rain that was predicted on Monday...but boy did we hit a lot of bugs in Georgia. Our windshield was practically covered! Then, when the rain hit, Richard was hesitant to turn in the wipers...thought we'd have a blinding mess...but it was fine. We stayed in Wytheville, VA last night and got a good start this morning.

... Walmart parking lot. We found one about 4 miles north, parked, ate lunch, unhooked Mr. Toad and drove off. I love traveling!

This turned out to be a good thing because we had to stop by a UPS store to pick up a business letter in need of our signature and stop at a local Chase Bank to cash a couple checks, pick up some cash and tell them we are going to Canada so our ATM cards will work up there.

Finally arriving at HOF, we ...
