... weather that was cancelling trains and flights, closing bridges and tipping over lorries. We took a walk around Inverness, mainly looking to book ourselves on a Loch Ness cruise and find out what else there is to do in the area. Nothing was open so we had dinner and decided to come back in the morning. There was a local band playing at our hotel pub so we spend a nice evening listening to some local jazz.

33. Haggis and Hootanannys
... and it was back on the bus. With dusk approaching, we drove over to the Black Isle in hunt of dolphins coming in with the tide. No luck, but we did have a stone skimming contest.

Nessie doesn't like Christmas
Christmas Day in the Scottish Highlands!! Unfortunately I didn't get my white christmas I was hoping for, but none the less, this was still amazing. We got little scottish suprises as we climbed aboard the bus in the morning, each of us got little stockings filled with everything scottish. Haggis flavoured chips, a little kilt key ring, scottish chocolate and their number one sold soft drink - Irn Bru!! ha ha ha... Irn Bru has a higher ...
