... to have come down with the flu, so we are hoping that he will be able to make it out in a few days. But flu symptoms and flying for 27 hours were not a combination he really wanted to try, so he is staying home for the day. Hopefully it's a short lived bug and he is able to join us shortly! Greg, Cari, Paul and Jan should be in Australia by this time. Today it is Mom, George and myself making the trek! Wish us luck!

Left home at 8am Sun 12/28/14. Was cold : right at ZERO, Thru Wisc & Ill. Roads were great - no snow on ground after Madison WI. Just on the road. Shooting for Paduca/Tenn state line? ... roll when I got to Carlyle which was about 40 miles into my day. I maintained about a 25 mph speed all day which piles on miles fast.
