... We stayed at the Western Hills campground. Set up camp, Cameron realized he didn't have his knife. His favorite, kept it in his pocket all vacation. He bought it in Deadwood. I can tell it bothers him. They went back to the park To see if by chance it was there, no luck. ... down the mountain, the rain stopped. We made it safely to our stop. The managers were so helpful, showing us to our spot and helping us park. We took a short walk wearing or heavy coats, and the dogs wearing their sweaters too. We quickly returned to our warm house. We snacked for dinner. Extra blankets and doggie cuddling to stay warm. ... road for a decent stay. Honey decided neither of those were an option, you see, he wanted to drive 2 more hours. Alrighty than...truck stop here we come!! Honestly, it really doesn't make much of a difference to me on this leg of the journey anyhow. We just need a place to park for 10-12 hours to eat some dinner, have a nightcap and jump in our comfy bed..than do it all over again in the a.m. I have a fan that I like to use at night to drown out the trucks ...
