... of cut up frozen salmon are taken from the very large walk in freezer and placed in a 5 gallon bucket in the adjacent room to thaw. The fun part comes the next day when the thawed fish are nice and juicy and ready to be fed to Herman the sturgeon and his pals. Needless to say, the procedure is messy.

In between daily chores the hosts help our groundskeeper boss by deadheading and pruning plants, trimming ivy, mowing lawns, cleaning out the two water feature pools, blowing ...

Saturday and Sunday are devoted to visitors. No mowing, blowing or other racket to distract them at this lovely place. Lots of young adults visit with multiple young'uns in tow or are happily skipping down the walks.
