The Gold Coast it isn't
2 days R&R for us. Not that we planned it that way but it has just happened. Yesterday we arrived here from Newcastleton. This place is just south of Stranraer and is on the Seaside or on the coast as we call it. Yesterday would have been the windiest and wettest day so far and was terribly cold as well. Found ourselves a B&B - we left it until quite late at night so we were lucky we found one with their lights on. Checked in and slept (unfortunately without dinner).

Some were worth it and others were not so much. But it was all so very exciting in any case. Next year I would love to come for a week just for the shows.
That evening we attended the Military Tattoo…..and it poured the whole night through without letting up ...
