Day 7: A Day on the Island

... condiments such as avocado, tomatoes, onions and pickles. Greg had beef with jalapeņos already chopped and mixed in with the meat. Mine had mushrooms already mixed in. For breakfast, Tina made us omelets with the leftover guacamole, salsa and cheese from the night before. Double yum!

A fun, new experience for both of us was to drive to and onto ferries, which shuttled us to and from the island.

Kelley and I's honeymoon officially starts on Saturday! We board a plane and 27 hours later we'll be in New Zealand! Follow us on our adventure! Our trip will take is through the north and south island of NZ and ending with a week on the beach in Fiji. Sounds rough, doesn't it?

... Dinner was a pleasant surprise. Since the dinners were included with our roomette, I figured that we would be told one entree that we would get for free and if we wanted something different, it would be extra. Not so. We could order anything off the menu. A salad was already at our place when we sat down. The waiter gave us a rundown of the featured dinners for the evening, just like a fine restaurant. ... and the EMP museum. Having lived in Seattle for her entire life, she was an amazing wealth of local knowledge. We met up again on Saturday night at the Football Stadium where she had arranged tickets for Pete and I. We soaked up the atmosphere (and tried to stop our eardrums from rupturing) as the local Seattle Seahawks thumped the Denver Broncos in this preseason match. And despite both Pete and Michelle's best efforts, I still don't understand NFL.
