We had a lot of wind and rain overnight and it was still windy and showery when we woke. We had been in our room doing some internet booking when the electricity went out, so we thought that was our cue to get out and do something.

... on Maury Island, not really an island, but only separated by Vashon Island by a narrow isthmus. They love their driftwood covered beaches, with signs up warning not to remove any. There was a wedding being setup in a reserve, complete with an arch made of sun bleached driftwood.
