... comes home after running some errands for the upcoming anniversary party and we all chill in the living room for the rest of the night.

Day 3: it's another chill day as I am slowly allowed to eat solids today. First meal of the day for me was at Chllis and I enjoy mashed potato, corn and broccoli. Chikki and Hinesh share ribs and chicken. I am happy just to have solid food in my system.

We are home! I am so happy to be back! Mom and I had originally decided to drive to Barstow and get home tomorrow, but when we made it to Vegas, we decided we were going to head home tonight, and I'm so glad we did. We got home at 9:55 PM, just one minute past Garmin's predicted time.

... a little hair raising with a really steep trail that the people coming up were all struggling with (it was Scafell from Wasdale steep and given it was already pushing 20c that is hard work!)

The middle of the trail opened into a high meadow – nice but not that inspiring and then – horrors – it was back on the dreaded fire roads. Don't want to be a hiking snob but fire roads are dulllllllllll The view was anything but dull ...
