A travel blog entry by peter-linda on Sep 10, 2014

... re staying in NYC for 10 nights and this is the worst place we've had.  We had booked this apartment quickly after our original accommodation on 58th St had to cancel just 3 weeks before we arrived.  We'll just have to settle in though as there's nothing we can do about it now.   We had arranged to meet Ian and Helen for dinner after there Day Trip to Washington DC. This was their last night in NYC.  We left our apartment at 7pm ...

Anyways, the basketball finals were on TV when we got back but I didn't have any energy left so I went to bed.

Today we are planning on going to the beach and stay there for the weekend, swim and eat well, obviously throw some football.

I'll be back in a couple of days,

I had a bad experience with this the year before in Rome. Got to the machine as I vivdly remember where it is and was able to get the cash I needed for the next few days. Phew!
