Today's the day I leave for New York. It's all here, finally. I felt like it would be a great time to update the blog.

I have been so overwhelmed with love these past few weeks. I am so grateful to be surrounded by such supportive, uplifting, loving people. I feel so blessed. Hung around town the rest of the day and at the hostel. And this was to be my very last night staying in ...

We're here in Michigan for the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, we'll have a memorial service celebrating Mom's life. It will be nice to see so many old friends and family that we haven't seen in a while, but sad that Mom isn't here to celebrate with us - gatherings and celebrations were SO her style!
