... was a quick look at the museum for the sake of Lunisa, the second time was to get a better look at the aquarium and the third was more interactive as a staff member called us back and showed us and let us touch a starfish and crab. Which we did not do trhe first two times arround. Aaron bought a hat for himself and we got icecream (despite being a cold and wet day). Watched some more movies with Lunisa the same night when we got back.

... It's definitely a trip I would like to make again, perhaps when people visit, or even for a few days just to really enjoy the scenic environment. I feel as if the pictures that I got did not really do the place justice, but maybe I'll go back on a rare sunny day and see what I can do!

At the next stop we had a Bailey's and a “comfort” stop before driving through the many peat bogs this region is famous for and make their livelihood form. The drive was comfortable and everyone was feeling full and satisfied from the morning treats.

While we drove up into the “Mcguilacuddy” mountains, we were again entertained by the many stories of history, Irish Jokes and folk music told ...

... we could see the ruins of a stone cottage. “Wow.” I said. As we went along Elaine would pull over ever twenty minutes or so so that we could gawk at the breathtaking scenery.

At our third or forth stop, a look out point at the top of a mountain where a statue of the Virgin Mary had been built, there was a man watching three lambs laying on a blanket. He a wool hat laid out in front of him which contained a small pile of Euros. ...

... and would be a fantastic venue. I guess these things are not really a priority for the majority of backpackers though. The streets are literally lined with B&B’s, would assume that these are secondary incomes as with so many they can’t all make a decent living surely. Spent the evening at Murphy’s Pub, nice an cosy, warm, great food and most importantly out of the rain. No wonder Ireland is so green. Stumbled across ...
