    ... and again there have been a lot of passengers getting on. Most seats are taken. Just looked at the map and discovered we are basically following the Connecticut River until it reaches the sea. It is actually quite difficult typing this as the train rocks along at a tremendous pace and there aren't enough stops to provide periods of stability!!!     Today Lin took another day off from school to show us more of Vermont. We headed west over to Rochester first so that we could meet Lin's sister Sue. It was lovely to meet her and now we have met the whole family except for her brother Paul from Florida. We then drove north through the Granville Gulf to again join Interstate 89 to Burlington.     ... of them to drive such a distance just to see us! Our friend, Jack, drove to our hotel from the one where they were staying to pick us up and take us to a nice steak restaurant. Then we got a wonderful surprise! They had brought with them another snowbird friend who had flown in from Michigan! What a great reunion we had---truly one of the highlights of the trip!

    Today Lin had to go back to school so she lent us her car and Jesse, the awesome navigator. Jesse really wanted to take us up in the gondola at Mt Killington, one of the ski resorts in Vermont.
