... oncoming traffic. She was okay, but that car was totaled. [Semi sales plug] Never have we been more thankful for choosing our Subaru! We feel so safe having AWD in these conditions. That's what these cars are made for! The weather also improved– the temperatures warmed and the rain slowed. We made it safely to Ashland in a little over an hour.

... ate dinner outside on their enormous rooftop deck taking in all the surrounding architecture of downtown backdropped by the mountains. Pretty amazing.

After dinner, we played a rousing game of Euchre. And, a surprise to me, we celebrated my birthday with homemade key lime pie and gifts. Thank you Anne and Michael for such a warm welcome to Ashland!
