After Talkeetna we had a short ride to out hotel destination, the beautiful Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Large.Having our own Princess along (wife Ann) we had to step up the accommodations a bit.

The train trip was 6 hours long and took a hour and a half to get their and another hour and a half to get back to the camper. So been a long day and going to bed soon since we travel in the morning.

We ate lunch in the Grizzly Bar - I had salmon chowder and Kevin had a Angus beef burger which was huge - and then we had a wander around the property.
Most people went off on tours so the place was buzzing with buses and shuttles. You can get a shuttle into Talkeetna but we were happy to unwind after all the driving we did yesterday.
