    ... it was but it was too big for a fox. We saw a white tip to a bushy tail and figured out later it was probably a coyote. No thanks. We stayed in the car. The aurora was already visible from downtown Talkeetna.

    ... really special. The scenery is fabulous too even if Mt McKinley (the highest peak in North America and the big draw for the park) is hidden by cloud. When we finally arrive at the lodge, we find rustic wooden cabins nestled I the bottom of a valley by the creek.     ... to a large avalanche barreling down a rock cliff, blowing great puffs of powder high into the sky. The curving glaciers were dirty white with ribbons of gray sediment running on the outer edges and down the middle where the great rivers of ice joined together.
