... all had flood gauges that went up to 5 feet, so I suspect all of the roads had gates that could be used to close the roads to through traffic during flash floods. Of course, this is all speculation at this point.

... to the educated conclusion yourself, is a German town. So expect to eat some divine schnitzel and brats. I'm half-German and it kills me that what passes for German in the US is not even a quarter decent than the original.

The next time we go up I plan on taking my boyfriend to Hamilton pool, which HE'S NEVER BEEN TO.

... the local cafes. Some are pretty crusty!
Another highlight was crossing paths with "the Kid" 5 times! He is a motivated person. We googled him and found out that he is raising money for worldbicyclerelief.org He hopes to raise $5,000 for the group who will provide bicycles to people in rural Africa. What an inspiration!
All in all, it was a super trip!

... to see the "real pros" in action (This was a UCI Pro Race with the Pro Teams racing. We got to see Emily Batty, Judy Freeman, Jerimiah Bishop, Todd Wells, Sam Shultz and more. One of our local guys, Tristan Uhl, placed 11th out of 63 against the Pros! Lots of fun was had by all. I think my sister took some pics, I'll have to post them up later. Next up, Abilene, TX.
