We woke up to clear skies and sunshine and we quickly had breakfast, unhooked and headed out by 7 am. Our goal was to get across Indiana and Illinois.

Just west of Galloway,where we stayed, is the town of Springfield which is the home of the Westcott House. The Westcott House is the only prairie-style house that famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright built in Ohio. The house has art glass, notable hardware, hand decorated walls and gardens. ...

Next day we toured the Deere Wiman mansion built by the son of the famous John Deere in 1893.( mom ....it reminded be of a smaller version of Downton Abbey with its servants quarters and bell system) It overlooked the original factory on the river and is stunning.....but in great need of restorations.
