I started this journey from home at 10:15 am, being picked up by the Act II shuttle. After picking up another traveler, we headed for O'Hare airport, arriving about 2:30 pm. That trip and check-in were uneventful. Since my flight wasn't scheduled to leave until 6:20, I walked the concourses for a while, had a snack, then ...

We had a nice late dinner, shared a drink and went to bed listening to crickets and a hooting owl.....what a nice way to start our trip!

Started the day with a walk around the park, one of us sporting ...

We began this week by celebrating our 100th day on the road. Monday Sept. 14 was our 100th day so I did a project to help show how many days that is like our First Graders (and the rest of the school) used to do when I was teaching! You'd think I’d be glad not to have to worry about projects anymore but that’s how it is being on the road for 100 days!

We are in the Quad Cities: Molina and Rock Island ...
