      Liverpool

A travel blog entry by travelingjess on Feb 28, 2015

What can I say about Liverpool? It is a port city, historical, industrial city. It has a lot of full bars, even on a Sunday. And that's not a good thing From what iv seen its a hard working town. From what I read, Liverpool is a very safe city. It doesn't ...

Liverpool was a balance between York and Manchester. The city life definitely accessible but it was still cosy and romantic. We enjoyed walking along the docks and looking at the ships moored along the shore of the river whilst devouring some epically delicious homemade fudge!

Highlights definitely include the evening spent at the Cavern Club singing and dancing to Beatles tribute songs and the Tuk Tuk drive through the city.

But the 10p was bigger than the neck of the bottle, and the bottle hadn’t been broken. So how the magician got it in there is a complete mystery.

We scored 17/20 in the quiz, and had to take a tie-breaker with three other teams. We didn’t win. :-(

... no doubt be consuming this next fortnight. Every little helps.I did 40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise using the treadmill, cross-trainer and stationary bike. I also did some arm-work using dumb-bells. It was a completely new experience to be using the treadmill on a moving ship; the vessel’s motion meant that sometimes you’d be going uphill, and sometimes down. When I was using the dumb-bells I didn’t need the stability ball; the ...
