... butt moving and really pack. It's 10 at night now and I'm still not completely packed, but it's a work in progress right? We packed a lot for this excursion, but it's in my blood to be an over-packer. You never know when you're going to need the seemingly frivolous things. But when an emergency strikes, you can bet I'll be prepared with my stuffed luggage.

I am so excited ...

... the smoothest pre-departure eve we've ever had. Got a little sad having to say all my goodbyes but I think the time will fly by. Pegster hooked me up with some fresh freezer candy which I have all packed up for my flight, just like she told me to do AND we planned a birthday reunion dinner at anchor bay to celebrate our birthdays when I return. Can't wait to get out of this freezing weather and back to paradise tomorrow.. you're only a day away!!!! ...

Pleasant Wisconsin roads. Stopped in town of Owen, had picnic as lots of bread, summer sausage and cheese in cooler.

Anna then drove -- didn't stop again until reached border -- where Mississippi and St Croix rivers join, so crossed Mississippi twice except the first was actually St Croix River. [At Prescott, Wisconsin and Hastings, Minnesota]

Very hot -- above 90 and humid. Had 2nd stop just across St Croix, possibly Lake Rebecca Park.

Hi everyone, I have had two great days with my grandchildren, Matt, Alayna, and Michael. Yesterday we did a tie-dye project. Each one had two t-shirts to dye: one using the wet method and one using the dry method. It was unanimous that the wet method worked better.
