I am blogging you from the airport in Minneapolis, Missouri. At 5:45 in the morning I flew out of the Orlando airport and 4 hours later I'm in a different state! Airplanes are pretty cool like that :)

I'm currently enjoying my 4 hour layover, the time between arriving to an airport and getting on your next flight. From Minnesota I fly all the way to Seattle, Washington. From there I fly... I think... for ELEVEN ...

... br> The city skyline is seen in the background and the whole area was a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts with people swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, running and cycling. It was about 90 degrees so people were obviously enjoying the summer weather that appears so briefly in these parts.

In winter the same paths are used by people for cross country skiing and on the lakes themselves people ...

... said goodbye to my seat mate and wished her well and I made my way through customs and went to the monitors to find out my flight was delayed so I just took a seat somewhere and did some reading. After awhile, I checked the monitors and saw that my plane was boarding but it didn't have the gate number on it so I ended up following others who were running throughout the airport finding the same flight as me. We all got on the flight safe and sound and made it to Riga okay although ...
