... we will take the midnight flight to Lima. While waiting, mom and I went "out" for dinner at a Cuban restaurant. We ate yuca, fried chicken, fried fish, spanish rice and plantains. The food was only ok but for the taste the price should be lower.
During the plane ride I like sitting by the window and seeing the view when we are in the clouds I took two pictures.
I don't want to bore you guys so I'll add more when I get to Lima.
Weather: Start 18C gloomy with misty rain. End 4:30pm clear sky and 32C !!!
The temperature had almost doubled since I started this morning. As soon as I checked into my motel this afternoon I was straight into the swimming pool to cool down. It's now 8:30 and it is still 31C outside. I see that in London ON it is 16C. I don't know which is better.

On the way to the Weisman I got royally lost. Like, miles-out-of-my-way lost. I ended up walking through the U of M campus during move-in day (they have some very nice dorms) which brought back memories from ODU. I also saw a lot of neat stuff, including a lot of the riverfront of the Mississippi. The city is doing a great job of preserving the past (mills, warehouses, etc) while building new stuff. They ...
... something different try the lemon, ricotta hotcakes. These babies will make you forget all about Aunt Jemima. For an added treat go for the weekend brunch; the waitresses serve customers in their jammies.
