So, had a pretty good day in London today. Started off not so well, was spitting when I left the hotel...looked at buying an umbrella but decided against it,....bad move. It ****** down and I got totally drenched along with the contents of my pack.

Walked through Hyde Park, past Buckingham Palace through St James Square to Westminster …

... simply never make! We then stayed with Jolie in Hoi An for a few days too, who treated us like family and let us stay in her brand new hotel when the homestay was full. We also sang karaoke in Vietnamese with our boat crew in the middle of the sea in Lan Ha Bay who laughed so hard at our attempts versus their semi-pro karaoke singing it was a joy to share – just a few wonderful memories of Vietnam.

... Bus Station.

Our hotel was amazing. Stan weakened and let me upgrade to the iconic view room. It's just a clock says he...but once in the room, even he appreciated it.

Once it was dark we headed out and enjoyed the views offered by the London Eye. We later chose badly for dinner, think it was the All Bar One. The food was excellent, but it was a Fridat night and we were surrounded by drunken teenage ...

... things to see and train/bus stops are just a short walk away. There is a TV room, library, and dining area which are all communal to give people traveling alone a way to meet others. Breakfast is lively as we sit at long tables and get to know one another. Some are Quakers but many have just heard about Penn Club and stay here for the value. Other hotels in the area are 2-3 times as expensive!

... the sights. You can pick these bikes up from one of the many dock locations around the city and drop them off at any other. They're 2 for 24 hours—just make sure you change bikes every 30 mins, it's easy enough, or else you get stung with extra charges.
