So, had a pretty good day in London today. Started off not so well, was spitting when I left the hotel...looked at buying an umbrella but decided against it,....bad move. It ****** down and I got totally drenched along with the contents of my pack.

Walked through Hyde Park, past Buckingham Palace through St James Square to Westminster …

... to the staterooms where we found out that Queen Mary's Dollhouse complete with Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret’s Jumeau doll given to them by the French was open. I was very lucky - the very nice bellman raced with me up to the room - the taxi was already waiting - and when we got there they were cleaning the room and had my sunglasses on their cart - crisis averted... I know they're just sunglasses but they're my Maui Jim bi focal sunglasses........ Anyway I have them and we can be on our merry way.
