    So, had a pretty good day in London today. Started off not so well, was spitting when I left the hotel...looked at buying an umbrella but decided against it,....bad move. It ****** down and I got totally drenched along with the contents of my pack.

    ... by local train and Eurostar from Brussels. All very plain sailing. Our apartment in Kensington is the size of a postage stamp but I guess all apartments here aren't very big.     ... We had a guided tour & it was very rushed, but again the history, and condition of the castle was amazing. We did have time for a few photos outside (one of which happened to be of Richard Ayode who was one of the characters from the IT Crowd tv show & who was obviously filming something within the castle walls, albeit in a bright orange suit!!)     So after such a full on week, I decided that I wouldn't leave my bed on Saturday. Claire and Larry went out but me? No I stayed in all day watching the final season of Dexter- peace and quiet and it was heaven.
