... marble exterior. With a naive of 45m in height, we once again found ourselves wondering at the construction and effort that would have been necessary to build this.

A further wander around the centre found us having another late lunch in a really nice restaurant just off the main piazza.

Milan centre is certainly not as pretty as Florence or others, but well worth a visit.

... on back to the hostel to collect our bags before reception closed. We chilled out for a while, had some lunch then it was time to head to the bus stop. Waiting at the bus stop became a nightmare, the bus was over two hours late, not a major deal for us but another couple we had gotten talking to were pushing it to make their connecting train.
