... Kastell spaziert sind, um dann in perfektem Frostzustand am Dom anzulangen. Der war schon beeindruckend und gar nicht größer als der Kölner, aber viel schöner. Auf dem Platz war den vielen Tauben zum Glück die Zunge eingefroren, sodass man den Anblick auch wirklich in Ruhe genießen konnte.

First Stop
... by artist Elena Ballarini caught our eye. These are so masterful that they look like photographs! The artist’s father is the owner of the gallery and he spent time with us talking about his daughter and her art. Quite fascinating—check it out: www.wildlifeart.it. He was even kind enough to suggest a place for dinner and called in a reservation for us. What a lovely gesture and so welcoming.

...But Where'd the Turkey Go??
... yet another long break between courses and were just starting to get antsy when we saw the waiters coming out of the kitchen. They were carrying a huge platter with a ginormous turkey on it covered with pomegranates. Everyone in the restaurant got up and began taking pictures as it went by, myself included (I've uploaded the picture for you to see.)
