Croissants to start the day! Bill had to make do without Cheerios and fruit this morning, but the croissants were soft and fresh! ... 6 till 8! Then dinner is served after 8! The cars here are European makes as well, like Citroen, Renault and Peugeot and are driven at break neck speeds up and down the narrow little streets! We dined at Le Saveurs des Iles and I enjoyed the duck while Bill had steak with pepper sauce! We topped off our meals with cheesecake and creme brûlée! Finished our day off with a walk on the docks! After sadly leaving Wild Bight, we
resupplied the larder in Lewisporte (including some fresh Cod) before
heading south on Highway 360 for the long drive to the coast.
Ran into rain before noon but the
countryside is still beautiful along the road but there is no easy
access to the creeks (rivers) and ponds (lakes) for random camping

We stayed three nights at Frenchman's
Cove Provincial Park with two of those nights overlooking the water –
which Bogie loved. Spent one day touring the peninsula visiting all
the smaller towns plus an off-road trip to Sandy Cove. The ocean
backdrop on one side of the truck and numerous levels of ponds on the
other side provided a feast for the ...

We browsed through a convenience store on the way back home and picked up a few essentials, namely beer. Mom took us to see the picturesque little town of Trinity – and it really was very cute.
