We set off from Eureka knowing that we had a very long drive ahead of us and plenty of places to stop along the way. ... of his famous restaurants are...French Laundry, etc. I chose Ad Hoc as *reasonably affordable* for a splurge and we weren't disappointed....a prix fixe menu, but we got to choose our entrée. Fantastic, and I loved the octopus that was an ad-on to the meal, so a definite first. Worth every point; I love fantastic food and this was.

We took our last shots of Napa and headed back to SF, Brady for work on Monday, and my last day of exploring.
