decorated instead. Again, you’ll see in some pictures I post.

We went for a little walk along the river too and we saw some
swans and some mallard ducks. For some reason I just didn’t think France and Canada
would have the same type of ducks. And swans are quite pretty and much bigger
      than I expected actually.

In my pictures you will see some animals. I find that it is
common in France, or at least this ...

Today we visited an abbey, and a very interesting Cathedral. There was another building or maybe an enclosed area (it was hard to tell) that was attached to the back of the Cathedral that we could see from the outside, but unfortunately we could only visit the sanctuary. I’m always curious what the rest of these churches and buildings look like, but of course we have to stick to the sanctuary. In this Cathedral ...

So, off we go to Hennessey's for a tipple of the good stuff, and indeed, it was very good! We stood at the shiny glass bar contemplating color, smell and flavour of the eau-de-vie. It was then a great treat to walk around the town of Cognac and see all the big names gracing the lovely cognac houses, Camus, Martell, Hennessey, and Remy Martin to name a few! A great way to spend a day!
