... Weather was pretty iffy most of the day but was a very scenic route. Stopped at Astoria at the Best Western - good hotel - rate $108 plus $15 for George. Was clean and relatively new. Ate dinner at the Ship Inn which was a good seafood place. Basic and definitely not fine dining but good ...

... strange but will have that available next year. Border guard confessed that they were concerned about lamb and goat when asking about meat? He did discover my bacon but let me go without any problems. Got as far as Wenatchee around 5:00. Stayed at EconoLodge - very basic - fairly clean but allowed pets and was cheap - $55.00 with only $10 for George. Anacortes was filled with bikies. There were thousands. The main street and side streets were all blocked off and the bikes just lined the streets. We were going to stop and have a look but there were no spaces to park so we kept on driving. The guy at the motel ...

Leavenworth W.A. Sunday: Breakfast today was with the Bikies. Our hotel was full of Bikers from all over. Kaff found out they had an annual "Oyster Run" in Anacortes and about 20,000 bikers show up for it. So that's where we decided to head today. There was a bit of a driving route around that area. There are lots of small islands and waterways along the coast here, some are connected by bridges, others are connected by Ferries. Along the way we turned into a ...
