... We too can't take the winters. We headed down the road toward our next destination, Niagara Falls via Palmyra, NY. We got as far as South Bend, IN., home of Notre Dame University. We found a Walmart that would let us boondock in their parking lot with all the big rigs. We made some dinner and then carefully climbed in bed (no the bed is not fixed yet). Ted says he needs some pieces wood to go along with the glue and clamps he has at the ready. ...

... He asked a lot of questions and enjoyed the performances...we were really proud and excited to have him there.

After the second show, John got out of make-up, Mom said goodbye to a couple of performers since this was the last time she'd catch the show, and the four of us took off for a Mexican restaurant nearby. ... had a king sized spa in the ensuite, A king sized bed with a beautiful Amish quilt on it in the room.

I get to see my mom and my uncle tomorrow in Middlebury. A bright spot in the midst of losing my grandma was that my Uncle Ryan (who lives in Aigua, Uruguay with my Aunt Draupadi) flew in for several weeks and will now actually have a chance to see our show. Bittersweet, but it will be really lovely to see him again before heads back home.
