... play area in the museum to keep the kids engaged while Lulu and Mark soaked in the museum's displays.

We learned at the Menno-Hof not to take pictures of the locals so we didn't, but there is always Google Images here to get an idea.

We paid an entry fee so that we could go on a guided tour of part of the original house. Apart from the clothing, it was a tad disconcerting to find the old wash tub, and manual wringer. I remember Mum using these when I was about 5 or ...

And now I finally sit back at home in Sturgis again, preparing to move my sister, her husband, and their newest addition to Grand Rapids tomorrow and celebrate my amazing mother's birthday.

A real highlight of the visit was the working, multi-train O Gauge model railroad layout. Awesome!
Mike and I were like a couple of kids.

All in all, it was a great day at the museum.
Bye for now and stay well.
