    The last few days have been mostly about driving, walking and downtime up on a Vermont mountaintop. Lots of pictures with commentary in this post. I did a lot of pulling over to the side of the road and jumping out for photo opportunities.

    The annual fall road trip has begun! Addie and I left Brooklyn yesterday afternoon, heading north into Connecticut to begin our adventures. After a shockingly painless passage out of the City, we soon found ourselves on scenic highway 7, which runs up the western edge of New England all the way to Canada.

    ... Mart. We were both totally spent and it didn’t take much for us to fall asleep that evening. What an amazing experience and I would love to climb that mountain again on a nicer day. It was challenging and a little scary but I am really proud of being able to do it and do it well.
