Today was definitely going to be a kick-back day. After all, we're supposed to be on holidays and we haven't relaxed yet! After sleeping in and enjoying the hotel buffet breakfast (instead of a banana and coffee picked up from a 7-11) we began the long drive to Cork.

A mini home away from home. Did a quick grocery shop and then walked the 30 minuets back to my flat. It was a peaceful morning and afternoon by myself. It was just the little break I needed.

I've never been happier to see the rain than visiting Blarney Castle yesterday. Of course the castle is home to the famous, much-smooched Blarney Stone, whereby you gain the gift of the gab by smacking your lips on it. However on one of our boozy Guinness-fueled nights out in Ireland we heard an awful, hopefully fictional, account of what young Irish men like to do at the Blarney Stone. Apparently they have a habit of breaking in at night and relieving ...
