... on to the town of Killarney. Our driver backed this huge bus off of an extremely narrow and busy street into the hotel area. We could not believe how close he maneuvered to cars parked in the driveway, and yet....nary a scratch on anything!

We were greeted immediately by a group of jaunty carts and drivers which took our tribe into Killarney National Park. Riding in these carts ...

... It lead us down a paved road, then a dirt road past some houses and finally into a field. We had to climb over the farmers fence (a ladder was provided) and a sign warned us to mind the cattle-leave only but footprints. It was the most random path but we enjoyed walking through the fields that had the ocean to our left and mountains to our right. We finally came out to the main road that would take us back to town, but we weren't ready so we headed back the way ...

It rained all day long so I went to the grocery store and stayed in most of the day working on school assignments. Megan came back from Cork and her and Shannon came over for dinner.
