8 miles in central Minneapolis
... the museum, we walked across the river along the University's walking bridge, then through the city (past the Metrodome) back to the hotel. We paused briefly to get a coffee before returning to the room. I took a bath and we rested before dinner. We dined at Masa, a great southwestern restauarnt. Everything we had was delicious. And we could monitor the world series on an app while we ate. San Francisco won game three ... a shut out.

Ah, home!!!
We made it in just a few hours, no problems, no issues, just a quick drop off of Toni and her house and South Minneapolis, then it was home to my own house. Teri helped me unload the 2 weeks of road trip items, suitcases and all the junk.
It was a great road trip, but I am glad to be home!

Enjoying a beautiful July day
... was of course needed to rescue the damsels in distress. The pool was filled with cousins, aunts and uncles, etc...as there was a mini-family reunion BBQ at the Thull's. Most notably Jennifer's grandmother (the kids' great-grandmother) came to visit and got to spend some time watching the grandkids frolic in the pool. The evening ended off with the kids staging an elaborate grand opening of the "pet shop" including posters, billboards, a cash register, ...
