After a breakfast of home made pancakes and bacon, some IT lessons from Sharon and Lou and some recommendations of authors to try on the Kindle, we headed out for a bit of a road trip. Heading North we visited a very impressive bridge at Bucksport where there was also Fort Knox, not the one of gold fame but an interesting and quite historical site none the less. Mark and I were exhausted after Alicia's wedding. Our flight didn't land until after midnight and we were so ready for a good night's sleep. My mom was arriving on Thursday and Mark was going to Vegas for a bachelor party on Friday so we wanted to be well-rested. On Monday, I cooked dinner and we went to get ice cream at Tim Horton's because we had a 2 for $5 coupon.  On Tuesday we decided to go to the batting cages for fun as our "arm exercise." ...

... Mary and I went inside to search for the gift shop. We found an almost bare room with four ladies trying to set up the gift shop. I bought a pin and a bottle of Vermont Maple Syrup and Mary bought a book. Because the cash register was not operating and there was no change, we traded money until we had everything paid for. At one point one of the ladies ran to another room to get change for a $20 bill and I commented: "Welcome to the ...
