    ... take on the Great Canadian Roadtrip next, but for some reason, I have a yearning to see New Zealand - and it strikes me that a road trip covering both islands would be a way to really see New Zealand. Would have to be next year or the next and probably in their summer - stay tuned - if I do it, I will no doubt blog it.)

    ... skull that was completely intact was the Tyrannosaurus Rex – some of those teeth would stretch from the tip of my middle finger, down to my wrist, they also had a neck vertebra that would have been comparable to the area of my stomach. Also need to mention the several dark fish and ammonite fossils which were adhered to the sandy colored faces of stones, acting as freeze-frames of life previously lived.

    ... Olympics were held and is also home to the annual Sundance Film Festival, thanks to local resident Robert Redford.

    ... ID where we diverted to see Shoshone Falls. It is east of town in a dramatic canyon cut into the basaltic plain. The falls are created by some sort of intermediate shelf of harder rock. Idaho Power has built a dam, more of a weir really, to create a pool to draw a portion of the water off for power generation. They are preserving the visual features of the many cascades during the summer months though. We next drove downstream stopping near Hagerman, ID twice, once upstream ...

    ... more to come with the movers! They have like almost nothing--a couch, a lamp, a coffee table and a tv. Boom. A dining room table, a side table, a bike. So bare and the fridge was almost empty.....with four people! Maybe out here its more like that--minimalist. I know Matt (guy from the train) was like that too.
