      ... snow-capped mountain range in view. Elevation signs said 6,000' & we were in the valley. We climb & climb... it was just 50 degrees at noon. Stopped in Filmore for fast food lunch & went through a car wash (3 times on dirt roads, let's get rid of the dirt!).

      The auditorium was incredible, built with cantilevered balconies so there are no pillars to ruin sight lines. Mostly used for the huge LDS annual conference, the auditorium can be used by outside groups if the event is in keeping with the building's consecration to God.       Heading north, going to Provo for lunch - valley widen out with agricultural pursuits - alfalfa and lavender that we saw. A bit of industry as well - a copper mine.
