The boys flew back to Durango with Chip's mom and Aunt Cindy and while we were only away from them for a few days, we really missed them a lot. This toddler phase is certainly starting to grow on us. I love that they are becoming little explorers and we have been venturing out to the hiking trails behind our house on evening walks. Surprisingly, the boys stay on the trail and more or ...

    ... and housework...wink wink).

Next, we were on our own for about 2 1/2 weeks and during that time I worked my butt off (Chip too! I was just at home for most of the time). My days were a bit like groundhog's day, very repetitive, and very busy since I had to balance my job and take care of the boys. In the mornings I would wake up 30 minutes early to tidy the house/prepare meals for the day, ...

... a good balance between work and the boys too. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they have been spending the day at Jenny's, she is a sitter I found on care.com who had experience with other sets of multiples. She is the most wonderful, caring human being! She is also a mother of a six month old named Mia and three other older children. She keeps the boys to their basic routine and works on the usual milestones with ...

... enjoyed a date hike while they babysat. It was great to have family visit!

We are excited to be celebrating the boys' 4 month birthday with a trip to Michigan at the very end of July and into August to see both sides of the family. We are looking forward to everyone meeting and hanging out with them!

Until next time....here are a few more goodies.... Love, Chip, Lindsay, Reid, and Bennett
