... along. Ducks seemed to be just coasting along, enjoying the ride. The daffodils along the walking path were beginning to bloom, creating a lovely contrast of colour. I love the houses in the Cotswolds villages; they're old but quaint and charming. High Street, the main street through the village, is pretty wide, which indicated Bourton on the Water was a wealthy sheep village. ... the grounds of the palace to get to the car park and headed to the butterfly house. When we walked inside, I immediately felt at home. By that, I mean it was extremely hot and humid. ... arrive. When she did, it was almost like we were back in the hostel, sitting on the floor gabbing. It was great to catch up, but pretty soon, we were hungry and luckily, they had made a booking at a famous local restaurant, The Trout Inn. It was a remarkably cozy place situated on the Thames and served delicious food. After a satisfying meal and scrumptious dessert, I realized I was quickly crashing and we headed back to the house, where I promptly hit the sack.

We took a day trip to Oxford on Day 5 - we did a bus tour around the campus and saw all the beautiful colleges and heard about their history.
