Oh no, rain. That's how the day started off but what wonderful luck we had in that the clouds decided to part and from 11am the sun was beaming for our day of exploring Girona. Breakfast was consumed at a lovely little cafe not far from the old town (funny story coming later re: the location). ... seaside town of Llafranc was welcoming with thousands of pine trees and a cove just small enough to host a port and a couple of hundred travellers. After a few drinks and a light snack we proceeded to taking in the last day rays and was convinced by a rather small sign to take a walk to a nearbyish lighthouse. ... progressed to the land of the rental cars - seemed smooth running, well, when papa had queued up for the CORRECT rental car company - apparently assuming you are at the right queue is not ok.
