Finally arrived in Paris 1.30 local time. Our transfer was ready and waiting and there were two other Aussie couples sharing the ride who were equally excited as us to be in this gorgeous place. ... worth it! We didn't set an alarm that night, and slept half the day yesterday.
Following our amazing sleep, yesterday's activities were as follows:
We headed down to the pont neuf region along the Seine and headed one block west to the lock bridge. We put our lock on the bridge and threw he keys into the Seine, being careful not to hit any of the passing boats of course! We had to scout for a good spot since most of the main bridge is almost at capacity. It was great ...

Like a beagle on a good trail, I sniffed out Gallery Le Fayette and boy are we glad we did.
Yet another fantastic experience of Paris. This is the Harrods of Paris, just as old, but is all open from one end to the other. (Harrods has lots of rooms, like caves to walk through). You can't actually see the other end of the store though as there is just soo much in there!

Omar brought the sunshine to Paris!

The day he flew in was a little rough because of the time change and a bit of jet lag. He traveled from Mexico to Houston, through Chicago and then Brussels before finally landing in Paris.
