... up to the hype. No mention in the hotel literature but there is a ghost that is supposedly active on the 11th floor - great, guess which floor we stayed on! Even better is the early bird dinner with happy hour (4pm to 6pm) at their Palm Grill. Three courses of delicious food for $18 plus a glass of local wine for $4 wasn't too shabby at all. ... have here is also extreme . They are quite small and most of them are also diners or bars – it’s fab - you can gamble whilst you eat brekky or get drunk and not care about how much money you are losing!

We noticed that Huckleberry products are available in most of the shops here in one form or another so obviously a local treat, therefore once we arrived at Glacier National Park we stopped and indulged in some Huckleberry ...

... Met my new camp mates - the Kern's - a pretty hillbilly like family from the ****-end of nowhere in Montana. Originally thought the sister was the mum but thankfully kept my mouth shut before discovering! today we took a break from the hiking and spent the day at the famous Many Glacier Lodge. We enjoyed the air conditioning and the feeling of being back in society of a little while. Tara and I also had our first Kayaking experience. We loved it! we were able to get away to an area where we were by ourselves just floating and looking at the mountains rising above us. After that we had some local beer and watched the sunset from the lodge ...
