    Perfectly wonderful

Our stay at Eden Vale Inn was about as perfect as it can get. The room was exactly as pictured on their website. The soaking tub was so relaxing after a long day of driving. The food was exquisite and Mark and Gayle were the most wonderful hosts.

I left off with our arrival at Mark and Gayle's B&B.  There is no doubt in my mind that Eden Vale Inn will go down as the best accommodation we will have on this entire trip.  I'm not just saying that because Mark is my cousin. Our room ("Juniper") had it's own outdoor soaking tub, and the most comfortable mattress I think I've ever …

Truth be told, Dad first felt the need to ensure that we were fully schooled on the rules of the pool and club house. He let us know that we were not going to be allowed to do any running around, no outside beverages and NO peeing in the pool. Mike and I agreed ...

The Joaquins are once again preparing to be on the move! This time we are doing a combination "kids' request" and 20th anniversary trip! The kids chose London and Paris--two cities that Jeff and I have spent much time in together and can't wait to introduce to the kids. Jeff and I chose Portugal for our part of the trip. Jeff's of Portugese descent and has always wanted to visit his home away from homeland and I ...

Sorry I missed a day. Friday was quite the day of traveling around to various wineries. Ami and Jeff flew in early in the morning to Sacramento and then drove up to Plymouth to join Karen Tom and me for a day of touring various wineries. We revisited Young's winery and then went to Cooper winery and CG DiAire winery. We ended up the day at Noceto winery and spent a couple of hours there. At the end of our visit there one of the people in the tasting room that we ...
