... be a Dunkin' Donuts (recommended on Yelp--tells you something about the range of restaurants in Beckley!). It is now some generic donut shop and the donut was inedible (REALLY stale!) and the coffee undrinkable. We were having a bad day!

Instead of going to the ballgame, we spent the evening at WalMart and the Dollar Tree looking for rain ponchos. We are scheduled for a 4-hour ATV tour tomorrow morning, and it will go even if there are thunderstorms, which are predicted. After seeing the bridge, we went on a trail bike ride on the Rend Trail, the trailhead for which is located near the former mining town of Thurmond.
