... in a forested area, moved out into a desolate area of bogs surrounded by high headlands, and down to the rocky shores of the Atlantic Ocean. We finished that hike and then decided to go to the top of Brimstone Head, designated as one of the four corners of the earth by the Flat Earth Society. When we neared the top, we encountered winds that must have been 35-40 MPH, making the final 150-200 yards of the trail treachorous and we turned around and headed back to our room.

... the owner selected a nice pound and a quarter lobster from the pool and she had a great meal. Keith is not enamored with lobster, so he had yet another fish and chips meal. The family that operates the lobster pound (mother is chief cook and waitress, daughter was re-painting rail around dock dining area, husband was milling around lobster pool) were extremelty friendly and hospitable.

... is a historical house with the original tin ceilings and wallpaper. The porch was fabulous with a view of the harbour. Dinner was another seafood feast with Kata and Kerry chowing down on snow crab - melted butter dripping from their chins and crab meat flying everywhere.
