... Lake Huron to the east and Lake Michigan to the west (I think). They had a quirky gift shop that was really fun and I found some fun games for car travel bingo! ... crossed onto St. Mary's Island and from there to Whitefish Island, a First Nations territory recently regained by the Batchewana First Nation of Ojibways through very long struggles for their native land claims. The trail on the island was a gorgeous walk, terminating at the rapids of the St. Mary River, just to the left of the International Bridge linking Canada and the U.S.

... mess...sighThings I need to remember for tomorrow..

  • If I think I need to get gas...get it at the very next station...don't wait..same goes for washroom breaks...I had a few close calls for both today ;)
  • The larger numbers on the speedometer in this car are in MILES...but the GPS is in kms
  • One large Americano can last all day...and still be enjoyable cold
  • I must set up ...
