Went online and booked a Cabin at Glenview Cottages 12.4kms before Sault Ste. Marie. It’s good we are now registered with booking.com and can booked online the night before and our accommodations are reserved.

We stayed in miserable little motel at a place called Goulais River, just west of Sault Ste. Marie. There was a little bay nearby - in Lake Superior - where Elenka went for a swim. It would be our only opportunity to get in the big lake. There was little access in towns along the north of Superior and when got to Minnesota, the waters, because of the openness, were just too cold.
