... birds, drove around some mountain neighborhoods and were amazed by the crazy way they build into the mountainsides. In the afternoon we took a pontoon boat ride around the lake, looked at the various bays and marinas and at the houses all around the lake. My Thanksgiving was really nice this year. It was the first in a while where my grandparents were unable to make the drive down from Washington state to San Diego but I got to see my grandfather before Thanksgiving. In fact we got to give him a tour of the school and go out to a local restaurant. All which he approved of. I'm grateful that I got to spend the holiday with my family (last year I was celebrating Thanksgiving with a Chilean twist.)
... pretty much all year round. It was windy and dry and a high risk of creating a bushfire!
It was great to finally see some natural USA away from the big Californian cities. We thoroughly enjoyed watching all the wildlife and little critters running about!
