... separate Lake Michigan from the town's lake - very pretty! The sky was mostly cloudy but you could tell if the sun had been out, the water & trees would have been brilliant in color. By late afternoon, we were in our motel room relaxing (Lakewood Motel - super basic room & hard beds!). Janell & Rich arrived and we visited the rest of the day and eve. Left at 0700 and rode 500 feet for breakfast because the sky looked like it was going to open up.
Did the Tunnel of Trees, then stopped for custard at Bop-In in Bay View, Michigan.

Stopped for lunch in at a bowling alley/restaurant called Tucker's in a cute little town called Northport, Michigan.

We rode by the lake almost all day today. Just really gorgeous scenery.

... her know that the Hockey Hall of Fame is in Toronto. Well now, that is a must see. Phew, we dogged a bullet and end up on the 401 heading to Toronto. Hopefully, we get our picture taken with the Cup. We end our night with a trip to Tim Horton's. Coffees and an apple fritter for Mark and a raspberry cobbler donut for Sara, yum....
