... beach! It was a great beach with soft clean sand and the water was great because it was fresh water, not salt water like the ocean...and very clear and a pretty color, too! After the beach we stopped for some ice cream at the camp store, and since we just couldn't get enough of this wonderful place, we went for a hike along the skyline trail, which was up these long wooden stairs and led to a long boardwalk along the edge of the dunes. Great views from up there, too. ...

... wasn't so good. Fair at best. Suzy made a note to self "Don't order Mexican food in Michigan". Anyway on the way back we found this little scenic overlook along the shoreline and found a place we are going to try to see the Northern Light early tomorrow morning. We're going to pack up the trailer tonight and try... to get up at 3am and go by the scenic overlook because it will be away from any light pollution. I'll let you know how we make out. ...
