... only known for its antebellum (pre civil war) homes. We had lunch on the Main Street (yes, it really is that small) then toured one of the houses. Incredibly refurbished and maintained by one of the local garden societies.
Yup pretty quiet day. But definitely nice to get out on the road and learn random little facts about the states and towns we are passing through.

which was really cool. It was only about 20 miles but it was kind of
miserable. The first five in particular I contemplated rather
seriously if I could just stop and refuse to go any further and go
home. After a little further I began to be too tired to care and
distracted my self by timing how long each mile took me and
calculating how many mph that was. I found out I was going between
