... Here we are now – arriving at our friends home in Tavares, Florida – near Mount Dora – north of Orlando. Catching up with our lives – enjoying each other’s stories and companionship - drinking wine on their patio overlooking Lake Dora. Life is good.

Anyway, left on our own in the broiling heat of the mid-afternoon sun Min and I decided to pop into a nearby restaurant for some refreshing cold drinks.

One of the best parts about parka is people watching, and water parks are no exception. We were all wearing rashies, but were virtually alone in covering up. Some of the cases of sunburn we saw will have some people probably regretting not covering up right about now, just as the skin is starting ...

40 days to go.

In 40 days, I will have arrived in Paris and will be starting the adventure of a lifetime.

Today, I met with many of the students participating in our exchange program; we're so excited to leave!! Our orientation basically gave us an ongoing list of things that could, and apparently "will" go wrong while we're abroad: pick-pocketing, misplacing documents, not speaking the language, getting lost, etc, etc.
